Geo Roulette ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles information when you use our coordinate generation service.

Geo Roulette may access your device's location only when you explicitly choose to use the "Near Me" feature. This feature allows you to generate random coordinates within a specific radius of your current location.

How We Use Information

When you use the "Near Me" feature:

1. Your device temporarily accesses your current location
2. The app calculates random coordinates within your selected radius
3. The coordinates are displayed on the map
4. Your location data is immediately discarded and never leaves your device

Third-Party Services

Mapbox

Geo Roulette uses Mapbox to display interactive maps. When you use the app, Mapbox may collect:

• Map tile requests (to load map imagery)
• Anonymous usage data

Mapbox's data collection is governed by their privacy policy: https://www.mapbox.com/legal/privacy

Note: Mapbox does not receive your precise location unless you choose to interact with map features. Map tiles are requested based on the visible map area, not your personal location.

Data Storage

Local Storage Only

The app stores the following information locally on your device:

• Your coordinate generation history (list of previously generated coordinates)
• Your last selected region/country preferences
• Map style preference (dark or satellite view)

This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Can be cleared by deleting the app
• Is not backed up to our servers (we have no servers)

Children's Privacy

Geo Roulette does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age. The app contains no age-restricted content and does not require users to provide any personal information.

Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Deny location access: The app works fully without location permissions (except for the "Near Me" feature)
• Delete your data: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data
• Revoke permissions: Change location permissions in your device settings at any time

How to Manage Location Permissions

On iOS:

1. Go to Settings → Geo Roulette
2. Tap Location
3. Choose "Never" or "Ask Next Time"

Data Security

Since we don't collect or transmit your data, there is no risk of data breach or unauthorized access to your personal information. All app functionality happens locally on your device.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date

International Users

Geo Roulette is available worldwide. All data processing happens locally on your device, regardless of your location. No data is transferred across borders.
